Spirito Salentino is a group of professionals in the field of tourist hospitality and cultural heritage management, a unique example in the area.

The cooperative is staffed by 15 experienced tourist professionals and qualified tourist guides specialized in the promotion of territorial and rural heritage, as well as of the food and wine (many members of the cooperative are, in fact, experts in food and wine products).

It was founded in the city of Manduria in 2016 to carry on of the promotion and enhancement of the Ionian and Salento territory that all members have been following for over ten years.

Spirito Salentino represents the passion for doing and creating a different way of considering the territory; it is the dream of enhancing the cultural heritage of the places where the cooperative was born, the Salento and Murge areas.

There are several projects carries out by the cooperative, contributing to the professional, cultural and tourist development of the territory, always in a network perspective, leveraging the expertise and passion that all its members bring to it since several years.

Since 2019, Spirito Salentino has been leading a group of operators called “Cuore Messapico”, who obtained a concession to manage the Archaeological Park of the Messapian Walls and the museum centre of Manduria.

The cooperative is in charge of the front office , guided tours, workshops, cultural and artistic events and also hosts a selection of entertainment activities as well as the daily opening of the Archaeological Park and the Manduria Museum Complex.
